RESSURECTION AND HOPE
“ But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. 2 And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they went in they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel. 5 And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?” LUKE 24:1-5.
Entering into the Passover and Easter season, we have wonderful hope and promises to us.
Jesus said to Martha and Mary
“You don’t have to wait for the End. I am, right now, Resurrection and Life. The one who believes in me, even though he or she dies, will live. And everyone who lives believing in me does not ultimately die at all. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26
Ask yourself:
Do I have that promise for me? If not, right now call out to Him who has Life everlasting to give and ask that He come into your life. Repentance and acceptance of His sacrifice for your sins is the only way to salvation. Do not let one more minute pass before you do, because we don’t know when our time is over.
If you already do then remember that we are to be always ready to share His word and love with others.
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. John 3:16
We don’t know where, when or to who He will bring us to show His love and care to. It could be in the store, at the gas pump or on the side of a road. Do not let any opportunity pass you by to share the absolute love of God.
Isaiah 58:11
“And the Lord will continually guide you, And satisfy your desire in scorched places, And give strength to your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.
We have a hope in this that He will be faithful to keep His promises to us. With Him we do not fail! God is not a man that He should lie, and His mercy is renewed daily. Jesus told us in 1st Corinthians 9:23
And I do all this for the sake of the gospel, so that I may share in its blessings along with you.
ASK YOURSELF ——
Am I His alone?
